| Hsphere Updated to 3.0 |

As many of you are aware, we recently upgraded the Hsphere Control Panel to version 3.0. Here are a few of the improvements of this new version:
PHP Upgraded We are now running PHP 5 (for newest servers only). If you are running PHP 4 on your website, and you would like to run PHP5, please contact our support dept, and we will migrate your account to a server running PHP 5.
MySQL upgraded We are now running MySQL 5. Please note that due to some changes in MySQL from 4 to 5, there may be issues encountered with your scripts connecting to the database server. If you are having problems/issues with your database driven website, please contact our support dept.
SSL Certificates SSL Certificates can now be purchased and installed directly from within your hosting account in one step. Our pricing has changed on SSL certificates as well. Click here for more information.
Windows Changes Windows users can switch between ASP.net 1.1 and 2.0 from within their hosting account. Also,Windows users can switch between PHP 4 & 5 from within their hosting account. Contact support if you have any questions regarding these new features.
You'll notice the mail manager in your hosting account has been slightly altered with one nice improvement: the alphabetical sorting of Mailboxes into lists with "first-letter" navigation. This means ifyou have many email addresses spanning several pages, you can simply click on the first letter of your email address to go directly to the page containing your email address. No more sorting through page after page to find your email address. Please contact support if you have any questions on the upgrade of the control panel or any of the new features/upgrades. |
