| Spamming Issues #2 |

|
Hosting "spammers". This is a no win situation for all hosts. If the hosting company supports the customer, it gets black listed by all the other ISP's and providers as supporting spammers and will be out of business. (No host wants to terminate a customer and lose money!) If it terminates the customer to protect itself from extinction (and anti-spam retaliations), then it is a big bad heartless corporation. They (hosts) are stuck in the middle. The solution would be a very strong federal (internet wide) policy regarding spam (not the lame add an opt-out option in the email either) that would protect hosts form being shut down and at the same time provide for the free expression (and promotion of services and products). Something that protects the host from retribution and give individual and business a way to send out whatever they want. The best analogy is the bulk postal mail. This is not an easy problem and everyone looses under the current conditions. At Hostica our motto is: A good name is rather to be had than great riches.. Proverb. 22:1.
